"Valuing family, friendship, and relationships.

Southern hospitality and being a good neighbor is also very important. I have a small immediate family so we like to keep it close. Since my mom passed away when I was 15, it has been me, my dad, and my brother. I was also thought to value Education and do well at school."

"Going on a road trip with my family is such a good memory for me. It allowed me to see more of the world. Like going to San Antonio and Austin."

"And when we finally moved into out own place and everything was fine, Covid happened. Coming to BU was fuge for me too, since it was my first time outside of Texas.

"Biggest change that has happened in my life is the passing of my mom. It changed my whole life. For the entirety of sophomore year, I was home alone, But I had my cats."

"Hurricane Harvey also changed my life. That was when I was in 7th grade. It was the summer before 7th grade, and we got flooded. It was a crazy experience. We had to swim across to our neighbor's house. We had our cats on top of our heads. And we lived with another family with my brother's god parents who I didn't know too well. It was a family of four with three dogs and two cats. I shared room with my brother for a while until when I was 13. There were so many people and animals in the house, and it was just a lot."

I feel like they are very slow and go with the flow, relaxed. They seem resilient, too.

Very serene.
